The Future Beef Breeders’ Youth Camp held its inaugural camp in Coolah in 2010 and held another two successful camps in 2011 and 2012. The Camp Committee consists of volunteers, many of whom are past participants and organisers of beef cattle youth events. Over the three days of the camp, participants cover topics such as breeding, cattle health and nutrition, show preparation and parading, animal selection and this year we have also included an activity on practical farm skills.

Hosted by The Inland Devon Breeders, a branch of the Devon Cattle Breeders’ Society of Australia, the camp relies on sponsorship to keep fees at a minimum for participants. The Inland Devon Breeders would like to sincerely thank all the past FBBYC Sponsors. The generosity from within the beef industry, amongst the Devon breeders and from the local Coolah community is certainly very much appreciated.
